Eligibility Requirements

Permanent residence in California from one of the following four counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, Ventura, and San Bernardino. Permanent residency is evidenced by holding a California driver license or California identification card and/or designating California as the permanent address on all school, employment, or military records. Attendance at an accredited 4-year college or university issuing a bachelor’s or higher degree. College sophomore or better status as of August 1, 2024. STUDENTS MUST HAVE AT LEAST A 3.0 GPA ON A 4.0 SCALE, OR A 4.0 GPA ON A 5.0 SCALE, FOR CONSIDERATION.

About the Institution

The Polish University Club of Los Angeles (PUCLA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering educational advancement, cultural awareness, and community engagement among Polish-Americans in Southern California. Founded in 1948, the club provides scholarships to students of Polish descent pursuing higher education and supports initiatives that promote Polish heritage and traditions. PUCLA organizes lectures, cultural events, and networking opportunities to connect students, professionals, and members of the Polish-American community. Through its commitment to education and cultural preservation, the Polish University Club of Los Angeles continues to empower future generations while strengthening ties to Poland's rich cultural legacy.
