Polish Economic Forum 2025

On March 14-15, 2025, the Polish Economic Forum 2025 took place in London – one of the most important academic-business events dedicated to Poland and Europe. This year's edition also featured representatives of the Polish Youth Association (PSM), who actively represented the organization on the international stage. Julia Wojtkowski, serving as the Executive Secretary, and Maria Jastrzębska, Chief Marketing Officer, actively participated in the conference, promoting the ideas of the Polish Youth Association.

The Polish Economic Forum 2025 gathered students and young leaders from universities around the world, including representatives from prestigious institutions such as Columbia University, FIT, Stony Brook University, the Warsaw School of Economics, and Yale University, where Julia Wojtkowski is a student.

"This is the second time I’ve had the opportunity to participate in this event. The conference was filled with discussion panels, workshops, and inspiring speeches," said Julia Wojtkowski.

Participation in the Forum was not only an opportunity for Julia and Maria to acquire new knowledge but, above all, an occasion to establish valuable contacts and promote the idea of active involvement of young Poles in the affairs of Poland and Europe.

The panels addressing key challenges for Poland and the European Union attracted particular attention. One of the most engaging debates centered on the introduction of the euro in Poland, with experts such as Professor Danuta Hübner and Professor Grzegorz W. Kołodko contributing to the discussion. Julia Wojtkowski emphasized how the participation of such distinguished figures highlighted the importance of this topic for the country's future. Representatives from the National Bank of Poland and academic circles from Oxford and LSE also attended the event.

One of the most important points on the agenda was a panel dedicated to the future of the European Union – "Europe’s Future: Charting Poland’s Path in a Multi-Speed Union," in which voices were heard from, among others: former Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki, Professor Jan Zielonka from Oxford University, Professor Tomasz Grosse, and Dr. Renata Mieńkowska-Norkiene from the University of Warsaw, as well as Dr. Jarosław Kuisz, Editor-in-Chief of Kultura Liberalna.

"The conference was a great opportunity to establish valuable contacts and exchange experiences. It ended with an elegant ball, which was the perfect culmination of intense days filled with discussions and inspiring meetings" added Julia Wojtkowski.

The participation of Julia Wojtkowski and Maria Jastrzębska in the Polish Economic Forum 2025 once again confirmed that the Polish Youth Association (PSM) brings together young leaders ready to actively represent Poland on international forums and co-create the future of our country.
