
Jakub J. Staniewski is a Polish-American real estate professional and community leader based in the New York City area. Born in Lublin, Poland, he immigrated to the United States at the age of five. He is currently completing a degree in Business Administration at Empire State University and also holds a Certificate in Property Management from Cornell University. Previously, he attended Rutgers Business School.
In his professional career, Jakub serves as the Director of Business Development at Premier Homes, where he oversees daily operations, manages a team of over 120 real estate agents, and supervises $200 million in sales. Prior to this role, he was the Director of Operations at Serhant, a leading real estate agency in New York City, where he contributed to significant property sales, including a $34 million apartment on the 88th floor of One57 in Manhattan.
His commitment to the Polish community is evident through his extensive volunteer work with Polish supplementary schools and the Polish Supplementary School Council of America. In March 2019, he was appointed the first President of the Youth Affairs Committee at the Polish Supplementary School Council and served on the editorial board of its quarterly magazine “Asystent.” He is currently a member of the Bylaws Committee of the Polish Supplementary School Council of America. In April 2019, he founded and became President of the Polish Youth Association, aiming to engage and support Polish youth in their initiatives. Under his leadership, the association has grown to over 3,500 members globally, organizing events, workshops, and launching a scholarship program in honor of Eugenia Aniśko, a notable Polish activist and educator.
Additionally, Jakub is the youngest juror of the Wybitny Polak (Outstanding Pole) Award, a prestigious recognition for distinguished members of the Polish community.
Jakub is fluent in Polish, English, and Spanish. He currently resides in Scotch Plains, New Jersey, balancing his professional responsibilities with his dedication to community service and personal development.
